Wicklow County Council has announced that the implementation of temporary N11 road closures is set to begin. The N11 will be closed to facilitate resurfacing works between 21:00 and 06:00 on certain dates for the resurfacing of the northbound and southbound lanes.
N11 Road Closures
- Phase 1 of the resurfacing works will involve the closure of the southbound lane from junction 7 to junction 11 from May 21st to June 2nd, 2023, and the northbound lane from junction 11 to junction 7 from May 29th to June 9th, 2023.
- Phase 2 will involve the closure of the southbound lane from junction 11 to junction 16 from June 6th to July 19th, 2023, and the northbound lane from junction 14 to junction 11 from July 5th to September 1st, 2023.
Alternative routes have been put in place for each phase of the closure, with diversions via other roads clearly signposted. The closures and diversions are necessary to allow for the resurfacing works to be carried out safely and efficiently.
