There was great delight on Saturday following the return of Avondale parkrun. The volunteer-led organisers thanked the whopping 180-strong crowd of runners and walkers who turned up.
The parkrun had been temporarily canceled due to ongoing works in Avondale. The works were part of the construction and launch of the Beyond The Trees attraction.
The event is a short drive from Arklow. Further information about Avondale Forest parkrun is available here
If you fancy an event for children then the Arklow Duckpond Junior parkrun takes place every Sunday at 9:30am.
