The Arklow Seabreeze Festival 2023 makes its welcome return from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th of July. Here’s everything you need to know for this years event.

When is it on?

The Festival begins on Friday 14th and finishes on Sunday 16th of July

Will there be any road closures?

Yes. There will be several road closures below

  • R772 – Main Street, Arklow. From the Bank of Ireland to the Junction at Bridge Street.
  • Saturday 15th July 2023 from 06:00pm to 12:00 midnight
  • Sunday 16th July 2023   from 01:00pm to 12:00 midnight
  • Lower Main Street to Navvy Hill to The Wexford Road.
  • Wexford Road to the Navvy Hill to  South Green to Bridge Street
  • St. Mary’s Road to the Navvy Hill to Wexford Road or Lower Main Street.

Friday

  • Carnival in the Park
  • 8pm – Fun and Games in the Park
  • 8pm – Arklow First Responders
  • 8:30pm – Burger Eating Competition
  • 8.30pm – Music in the Park

Saturday

  • All day – Carnival in the Park
  • 10am – AGB Festival of Football
  • 2pm – Summer Sounds Marching Bands Competitions
  • 11am – 1pm – Abbey Lane Medieval Mural Project
  • 3pm – Frances Little Flowers Baby Show
  • 2-5pm – Busking Competition
  • 6pm – Main Street Closes
  • 7pm – Beat on the Street
  • 8pm – The Great Pint Challenge
  • 9pm – Wise Guys with Special Guests, Street Fun and Games
  • Main Stage – Jake Carter, Middle Stage – Wise Guys

Sunday

  • All Day – Carnival in the Park
  • 1pm – Main Street closes
  • 2-6pm – Artisan Food and Craft Fair
  • 2pm – McDonald’s Teddy Bears Picnic
  • 2-3pm – Dicey’s Mega Bingo
  • 3pm – American Wrestling
  • 3pm – Street Fun and Games
  • 7:30pm – Donut Eating Competition
  • 8pm – Centra’s Great Ball Race
  • 9-11pm Main Stage Music – Big Digger, Middle Stage – The Medics
  • 11pm – Fireworks on the River
